Prochacki’s painting is clear-cut and expressive. The artist’s starting point is nature, which, when channelled to the canvas, often takes on a surrealistic or abstract dimension. The diversity of painting mediums gives his works both richness and complexity. At times romantic, seductive through their colour and light, at others melancholic, at other times still, intriguing through their often brutal, neurotic strokes. They invite the viewer to go on a personal journey into the labyrinth of one’s own emotions. Karol Prochacki - born 8th of July 1982 in Gdańsk.
