SYLWIA STRUGALA

Sylwia Strugala was born in 1976 in Zielona Gora. After graduating from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts, she moved to Wroclaw, where she studied Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts. She developed her passion for painting and drawing in the studio of Marek Jakubek. She currently lives in the Netherlands and works as a senior designer for well-known airlines. In her free time she works as freelancer as designer and illustrator. She collaborates with publishers, she designs book covers. She took part in several exhibitions in Poland and abroad. As a mother of 3 children, she often fetch inspiration from the world seen through the eyes of a child. In her works, reality and fantasy constantly intertwine, creating a mysterious atmosphere. Favorite techniques are oil, dry pastel, watercolor and digital art.
